Pear Tree Inn San Antonio Airport

Pear tree was conveniently close to the airport. The free airport shuttle was easy and quick. The drivers were friendly and wonderful. The building was close to nearby restaurants. The pool area was pristine. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was just enough for a great night's rest. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The room has a microwave and a small fridge as well as a closet, and a chair with ottoman. Their free breakfast was delightful, and there were lots of choices. This was an overall incredible short stay for us!!

Mike the gentleman that checked us in was extremely helpful. I’m disabled and the room for we had the bathroom was so small you couldn’t wipe your butt. And Mike moved us to another room and was very polite and helpful. And he moved us to one room and got us settled in another room for the rest of our stay. When we went to the front desk the next morning I asked about our room change and Melinda was not helpful telling how she couldn’t help until she go to the notes from Mike and the manager and she changed her tune. She was very rude.

The staff was incredible and so easy to work with. They all had smiles and just a great attitude. We loved the breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, muffins, waffle station, oatmeal, and cereals. The rooms were comfortable and stayed cold in the summer heat. The bathrooms was small but we loved that the vanity and sink were outside the bathroom which allowed us get ready in the mornings easily. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed our sleep. We loved the kickback nights that offered, nachos, pretzels, potato chips, fresh popcorn, and 3 adult beverages(bud light, cabernet, rose, pinot grigio wine), per guest. They also have a soda fountain for those who don't drink alcohol. It was the perfect meal after a long day of amusement parks. The pool was an outdoor and always refreshing. The towels are next to the pool so no bugging hotel staff for towels. The staff ki dly reminds you prior to pool closing and when weather was rolling in, which was a very kind gesture. We also loved the water refill station and used it often!

Loved the kick back each night, and the free soda and popcorn every night were a hit. The food at breakfast was good, both in quality and variety of items. The bed was larger and a bit more bouncy than I would have expected, but it was decently comfortable to sleep in.

very clean, the front desk staff was awesome and helpful. The rooms were nice, beds comfy, they have a buffet breakfast, shuttle was convenient and they offered to take us places if needed within a certain distance. would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
