Pear Tree Inn San Antonio Airport

I have to say the stay with my family at Pear Tree Inn was absolutely amazing. The staff was great They greeted you as soon as you entered. The service to get checked in quickly was great. The greeter provided a lot of extra information letting us know some cool stuff the hotel did at certain times. One was letting us know that for adults 21 and over there was a kick back hour from 5-7 during this time adults can have a limit of three complimentary drinks whine or beer till 7 also a complimentary snack bar with chips, pretzels, salsa, popcorn, nacho cheese, jalapenos. There was also a fountain machine with soda, a coffee bar that was complimentary and was open till 9pm. That was awesome! The best of all was breakfast I love breakfast so when I looked for a hotel I looked for something with good reviews on their complimentary breakfast. It was buffet style with eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, waffles, and a juice machine with apple and orange juice. The pool was nice a bit too much chlorine the day we went but it was still nice to swim especially with the hot humid weather. Also the front seat brought our room items we needed very quickly when we called and it took less than five minutes. Great job Pear Tree Inn. Keep up the great work

The staff was incredible and so easy to work with. They all had smiles and just a great attitude. We loved the breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, muffins, waffle station, oatmeal, and cereals. The rooms were comfortable and stayed cold in the summer heat. The bathrooms was small but we loved that the vanity and sink were outside the bathroom which allowed us get ready in the mornings easily. The beds were very comfortable and enjoyed our sleep. We loved the kickback nights that offered, nachos, pretzels, potato chips, fresh popcorn, and 3 adult beverages(bud light, cabernet, rose, pinot grigio wine), per guest. They also have a soda fountain for those who don't drink alcohol. It was the perfect meal after a long day of amusement parks. The pool was an outdoor and always refreshing. The towels are next to the pool so no bugging hotel staff for towels. The staff ki dly reminds you prior to pool closing and when weather was rolling in, which was a very kind gesture. We also loved the water refill station and used it often!

very clean, the front desk staff was awesome and helpful. The rooms were nice, beds comfy, they have a buffet breakfast, shuttle was convenient and they offered to take us places if needed within a certain distance. would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

I traveled from New York and I would say that I would come back again. They had free shuttle services from the airport and back so you can save money on an Uber or taxis. Free breakfast and pool and complimentary alcohol and even a happy hour for kids fresh popcorn, nacho bar that has chips. We really enjoyed the black out curtains so it was easy to fall asleep and the bed was comfortable. It’s in a convenient location was too, everything is literally 5-10 mins away. I loved the waffle maker that had Texas shaped waffles my son really enjoyed that as well. Overall I give it 5 stars!! I will be back again!

After adjusting to turn arounds and access roads in San Antonio, it was fairly easy to get to and from the hotel. A trip to the downtown area was pretty quick. The hotel was very pretty and I liked the colors. The pool area looked very nice. In the evenings they served complimentary wine/beer with nachos or chips for a 2½ hr period. Breakfast had multiple options. Soda and popcorn are available. There was adequate room for eating and socializing. The rooms were clean and fresh. Staff were very pleasant. They also provide a work out room but we did not explore it.
